“Summer Nights” was a great song from the 1970s musical Grease! If you’ve been following Caitlin’s journey thus far, you know she’s a big fan of Broadway musicals. But as she learns by the end of Romance (Part Five of A Moment of Time): Life is not a Broadway show!
She hadn’t gone to Hawai’i in search of romance, but she enjoyed her time with Sam enough to go home with him, to California. While there, she reflects on her life and choices and beliefs, and concludes:
Caitlin learns some painful lessons, but she leaves California a little wiser.
