A Moment of Time takes place between June 1996 and March 1998. The main character, Caitlin Rose, is an attorney for an elite (fictional) branch of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Caitlin’s friend Kimo is a former client from her days at Legal Aid, when Caitlin defended him on a marijuana charge. Now studying to be a doctor of naturopathy, Kimo introduces Caitlin to people, ideas, and experiences that challenge her to see the world—and her role in it—in a new way.
